Workplace Pilates (WOLLONGONG):

Have you considered the benefits of organising a Pilates Session in your workplace? Regardless of where you work, including a session of Pilates to help combat the physical strains of poor posture and repetitive movement can provide immediate and long term benefits for your staff or co-workers. Pilates is also an excellent stress-buster with the inclusion of focused concentration, breathing and relaxation techniques to rejuvenate the mind along with the body.

What do I need to get Pilates into my workplace? Pilates is a non-impact, no equipment, non-aerobic form of exercise. All you need is a space to accommodate the size of your desired groups - most of the work is done lying down on the floor. Many corporate clients use a meeting room or unused office space for their classes. Participants bring their own mats or towels to lie on. Classes can be organised by a group of co-workers at their own cost, or by the HR or management of the organisation. The Pilates instructor provides any additional equipment required, relaxing music and her own insurance.

Where and when can we organise the classes? Most workplace Pilates sessions are done during the lunch break to avoid disruptions to business. Natasha is currently servicing the Wollongong area, however will consider other areas for a travel surcharge. There is currently no minimum commitment of classes and payment can be made on a class by class basis. The cost to run a Workplace Pilates session at your organisation in the Wollongong area is $80 for a 45 minute session.
